The Studio · Adult Heels Dance
The Studio is not intended to feel like a competitive dance school or a conventional drop-in fitness class. It offers structured, intentional experiences where women can develop their movement, confidence, performance skills, and connection to themselves and one another over time.
We work towards an intricate choreography that builds week by week, with a group of supportive women, that culminates to a year-end gala.
Dance becomes a way to practice expression, presence, resilience, coordination, musicality, and taking up space.
One movement. One practice. One encouragement at a time.

Year-end Gala Performance
Tentative dates: May 14-16, 2027
We will be performing our choreography in full costume, hair & makeup. Friends & family are invited to our formal gala performance to see what we've been working on all season long!
What to expect
Ten things to know before you walk in.
You do not need to arrive feeling confident. You are welcome exactly as you are: confidence is something we will practice and build together.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and good in your body. That might be leggings, joggers, shorts, or something more fitted. As long as you can move freely and feel hot in it, it works.
Bring a comfortable pair of heels with ankle support. It is completely okay if you do not wear them for the entire class, or even at all during your first class. You can bring clean indoor sneakers as another option.
Bring a water bottle because you will sweat, a lot! We will be warming up, stretching, learning choreography, and moving for 90 minutes.
Try to arrive about 10 minutes early. You will have time to settle in, meet everyone, and begin the class without feeling rushed.
Expect a warm-up, stretching, foundational movement, and choreography. We will build everything gradually, so you will never be expected to jump straight into a complete routine.
Some movements may feel unfamiliar or awkward at first, and that is completely normal. All that matters is bringing a great attitude and being willing to work through the movements at your own pace.
You are not expected to remember or execute everything immediately. We repeat, review, ask questions, and give the movement time to feel more natural. You will have the opportunity to practice at home, and when you return the following week, the movement will often feel more familiar. You can always ask questions or review anything that still feels unclear.
You are encouraged to listen to your body. Take breaks, ask questions, and adapt a movement when needed.
Your only job in the first class is to show up and let yourself begin. You do not need to impress anyone or perform perfectly. Come ready to move, learn, laugh, and experience something new.

You do not need to arrive feeling confident. Confidence is something the program helps you practice and build.
The environment is beginner-friendly, which does not mean it is without challenge, but rather you are supported through movements and choreography in order to feel encouraged enough to grow and trust yourself in your body.
